Smeared Dinner

Diet Coke

Tonight I tried out my new LensBaby specialty camera lens out at dinner. Not too dramatic.

Chicken Salad

I think the salad turned out better.

That reminds me of the new-ish trend in faking “tilt-shift” photography in photoshop. It makes everything look like a model train set. The cynic that I am thought that you photoshoped these! I didn’t know there was a lens that did that.

I don’t know if you mess about with photoshop, but this technique is fun http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=tilt+shift+photoshop

I love the tilt-shift effect! I think I”ll have to give it a try, I’ve never actually taken the time to try it out.

Yes, Lensbabies’ effects could be photoshopped, but I am not sure how to get that specific effect… the smearing/blur increases in intensity as you go outward. Plus, there’s something fun about “seeing” the effect with the camera as you’re taking the photo.
